Growing the Range: Expert Advice from the Kaleidoscope Garden Buyers

The keen gardeners amongst our customers might have noticed that Kaleidoscope started selling real bulbs, plants and flowers earlier this year. Well, like you, we are very pleased with the results we’ve had this year and so we are planning to grow the range (excuse the pun!) for next year. We have some exciting developments and offers in mind, so read on.

Outdoor Plants

The Kaleidoscope buying team visited the nurseries and distribution centre of our number one plants supplier recently to plan the autumn/winter ranges and lay down some plans for the spring.

Autumn is all about getting your bulbs, shrubs and bare root plants in the ground ready for the following spring. Kaleidoscope have a new range of these ready to launch on our website in the middle of September – look out for these new arrivals coming soon.

These plants will soon be packed in bespoke specialist packaging.  Mail order plants direct to your door!  No need for heavy lifting and filling your car boot at the garden centre!

Add some immediate colour to your garden this summer with a ready to plant hibiscus.

Indoor Plants

We are also planning to launch a range of indoor plants for the winter. Think amaryllis, bonsai, aloe vera, yucca and the like. We will have a range of real live potted Christmas trees, holly bush topiaries and wreaths for the festive season too.

Next spring, we are aiming to have an even larger range that is more frequently updated throughout the year. There’ll be something for all levels of gardener. Whether you are happy to plan early for the months ahead bringing your full blooms out in June, or whether you prefer to plant closer to the summer and have your bedding plants in the ground and blooming just weeks later, we hope to have it covered for you.

The Kaleidoscope garden experts discuss the plug plants and packaging for the current and future ranges.

These plants will be with their new owners by lunchtime tomorrow!

These are the top 5 plants we recommend you look out for in our Autumn range:
