Women’s fashion – the benefit of wisdom
Most of us like being fashionable but we’ll be the first to admit were hardly cutting-edge, straight off the cat-walk kind of girls anymore! Maybe back in the day when we had more time and disposable income. Fashion is something we tend to follow, rather than lead, letting others adapt to a new trend or look before we do so we don’t look silly! Yes, being the height of ladies fashion may well suit the younger gals but we follow when we’re ready and put our own spin on things. The benefit of age and of course wisdom allows us to team new trends with classic looks and shapes that we know will work.
My ‘bulk buy’ shopping spree (to dress the women of Britain) goes something like this:
- I look at what next year’s trends will be (using our secret fashion sources)
- I rule out the ridiculous (you know, the ‘who in real life would wear that?’ items)
- I reminisce on what you loved last time
- I build a vision and decide what my key looks will be, then go on a world-wide shopping spree to bring back a range that will get you jumping with joy. (It’s a tough job, but someone’s got to do it!)
Ladies fashion – it’s all about the colour
So what was my vision for the current Spring Summer range? In one word, I’d have to say ‘rainbow’. You can’t beat having a bit of colour in your life, and boy is this season’s range brimming with the stuff. Some top trends in women’s clothing for you to look out for:
