Plan, plan and plan your ladies fashion wardrobe!

At last, the dream cruise is finally here! We better getting planning on those special pieces of women’s clothing that will transform our holiday wardrobe, we need both day time casual looks and elegant dresses fit for the Captain’s ball but, we don’t know where to start!

Planning your cruise-wear outfits is a must; start by devising a list of all your must have items. Ideally you want an outfit for every eventually, from those formal dinners to those excursions to the secluded beaches.

When packing your women’s clothing remember these two key points –

  1. The climate – when packing those elegant dresses just remember where you’re going; for hot locations take thinner cruise dresses made of a light weight material.
  2. The plan – are there any day trips off the boat that involves lots of sightseeing? If so, then don’t forget your comfortable clothing & flat shoes!

Cruise dresses for all purposes

We know you can’t take your whole wardrobe, that’s why we love making the most of our suitcase. When you’ve picked your special cruise dresses, simply transform your elegant dresses from evening style to day time casual chic with a few tweaks.  You can save valuable space in your suitcase for other cruise dresses!

Stick to two main looks when it comes to your cruise dresses; monochromes and brights. That way not you can create new elegant dresses for each occasion and be bang on trend!

Take this two piece set for example.  A monochrome dream dress, the floaty material will keep us cool whilst we’re sightseeing & with a pair of sandals and a hat the casual chic look is complete.  This can be perfectly adaptable for our night on the cruise ship; we’d wear the bolero, put some striking heels and finish the look with earrings. That way we’ve created an elegant evening dress designed to turn heads!

For a splash of floral bright, this maxi dress is a must have. We love the colour of this elegant dress; it would compliment a tan perfectly! We’d wear this for a more informal night on the ship with kitten heels, shrug and simple bracelets.  For those days off the boat this would be perfect for a romantic lunch, just keep it simple with wedge sandals and sunglasses.

Mix and match women’s clothing

Mix and matching different pieces of ladies fashion can save you from a heavy suitcase! We know how difficult it can be to find a new outfit for everyday, that’s why with a few key pieces we can transform our holiday wardrobe to create a new looks each time.

Our top picks to create a staple holiday wardrobe are:

  1. Elegant Crepe Trousers – these crisp white trousers are one of the most versatile pieces of women’s clothing! For evenings where cruise dresses aren’t needed, simply dress up your staple white trousers with a printed top and some striking sandals.  For those days out exploring where you want to remain cool and look stylish, simply wear with a vest top. This sequin vest injects a touch of glamour but remains comfortable!
  2. Together Palm Print Kaftan – we could wear this over our swimwear during the day to keep the heat off, and at night with leggings & wedges.  The bead detailing makes this perfect for day and night!
  3. These pack of 2 shrugs are designed to add sophistication to your special cruise dresses; not to mention they’ll add warmth on those cooler evenings! As you get two, you can mix and match and team with many of your elegant dresses! For a day exploring, wear with cropped trousers and flat shoes.
