Introducing Amanda: Lifestyle & Interiors Expert

I’m very excited to be writing this post, the first of my collaboration with Kaleidoscope, as their lifestyle and interior blogger in residence! I hope to inspire and delight you with my ideas and recommendations.  This is the first time I have agreed to write on a regular basis for a brand on their blog, and I made the decision as I wanted it to be one that I loved, and could imagine the products that they sell, working in my own home.

When I look at the Home and Lifestyle section of Kaleidoscope, I am blown away by the diversity of the offerings.  I have an eclectic home, and I firmly believe in buying things that you really love first and foremost, as well as what works for you and your family.  As you wander through categories on the Kaleidoscope site, you will see items for every room in your home. Kitchen, dining, garden, home decorations and furniture, all styles and tastes are really well covered. So if you love a vintage or modern look, or prefer a more classic style then you will definitely be spoilt for choice.

With summer promising to eventually arrive, I thought it would be fun to show you my favourite item currently in the garden summer sale.

Looking for a new garden table and chairs? I love the silvered, weathered driftwood look of this set of six chairs and a table.  It does look great dressed in monochrome, I think I would try something a little different though, by adding the pantone colours of the year, rose quartz (pastel pink) & serenity (pale blue) with the outdoor dining accessories.  Fresh, pretty and gentle hues, which would look gorgeous next the pale silver distressed wood. How about some cushions for the chairs in both colours, and a big over sized parasol to finish it off.

All you need to do now is add good friends, a barbeque feast, some fizz and you have yourselves the makings of a great outdoor gathering this summer.
