When shopping online for clothing and footwear it can be difficult to know which size to buy, especially when shopping for new or unfamiliar brands. So to help you choose the perfect size first time, we've put together some helpful size guides as well as a guide to measuring yourself for clothing, lingerie and footwear.

The size guide is based on body measurements, not the sizes of the clothes. If you're unsure of your measurements why not read our guide to measuring yourself first? Remember, this information is a guide only; everyone's body shape is different! If you find that you are between sizes it's usually best to go up a size for a more comfortable fit.

How Do I Measure Myself?

  • To get the most accurate measurement, it's best to take your measurements standing up in barefeet and underwear. If you can, ask somebody else to measure you to ensure the tape measure is held as level as possible. The tape measure should be held against the skin, not too tight or too loose.

    Bust

    Measure across the fullest part of the bust, taking care to keep the tape measure straight across your back. If you don't have someone to help measure, it can help to check in a mirror. For help selecting the correct bra size, see our lingerie size guide.

    Waist

    Measure around the slimmest part of your natural waistline.

    Hips

    Standing straight with your feet together, measure around the widest point of your hips which is usually around the bottom or the top of the thighs. This is approximately 20cm (8in) below the natural waistline.

    Inside Leg

    Measure from the top of your inside leg at the crotch to where you would prefer the trouser to end.

Lingerie Size Guide

Wearing the correct size bra is an important part of looking and feeling good. However, it can be difficult to know which size is correct. If you're not sure which size you should be wearing, you're not alone; about 70% of women are wearing the wrong size. This can have a big impact on your health and confidence so it's important to get measured, or measure yourself regularly, to ensure you're wearing the correct size. Below is a guide to how bra sizes are worked out and how to measure yourself, to ensure you're ordering the correct lingerie size.

How do I measure myself?

A bra size has two separate meaurements; the underbust (34, 36, 38) and the cup size (B, C, D). To find your size, use a tape measure and a mirror - or ask a friend or family member to help you. Once you have your measurements, check them against our chart below to find your size. You can measure yourself with or without a bra on - but make sure if you wear a bra it is not heavily padded.

1. To find your underbust size, measure around your chest just under the bust. Make sure the tape measure is level all the way around and taut (but not tight) against your body.

2. To find your cup size, measure around the fullest part of your bust, again keeping the tape measure level all the way around.

Please note that the below chart is a general guide and different brands and bra styles will vary slightly in fit. To find your size, take your two measurements and read down and across in the below table find the size which corresponds with your measurements.
