This multi-functional AHA Resurfacing Serum refines and promotes rapid renewal for a smoother and brighter complexion. Used daily, the natural plant powered AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) help to gently exfoliate your skin. AHAs are a group of plant or animal derived chemical exfoliants used in a wide range of skincare product types, including cleansers, exfoliants and serums. Some examples of AHAs are glycolic acid, lactic acid and citric acid which help to peel away the surface layer of the skin. This, in turn, helps the desquamation process (a natural process of shedding dead skin cells) which encourages a clear complexion by promoting natural skin renewal. It is also hydrating and provides some antioxidant protection.
