London Pottery’s Globe teapot is already a British icon. Now, with this fresh take on the classic design, they’ve made teatimes just that little bit more special. This lilac purple teapot has a soft, understated look and is embossed with sweeping vertical stripes. It’s designed to please all the senses, from brew, to pour, to that first refreshing sip. Like all teapots, it was designed in the UK by company founder and renowned potter David Birch.
To last, it’s made of robust stoneware and features a specially designed spout that minimises drips and mess. A built-in strainer in the spout holds back teabags, too, so every cupful is smooth and flavourful. For loose leaf teas, a separate strainer is recommended. The teapot has a four-cup (900ml) capacity, so it’s ideal for afternoon tea, or simply for enjoying cuppas and catch-ups with friends. Love the look?
