Referencing an archive document, Fringed Tulip Toile is a distressed batik style print transformed into decadently sumptuous bedding. Double-headed parrot tulips and roses appear in weathered form in this Smalt colourway of cobalt blue and beige. Aged yet still beautiful, antiqued yet grandiose. This design mimics the technique of extract printing, creating a lightened, almost bleached effect in the printed design.
