The Dyson DC24 has made my cleaning regime a joy to do. It's true to its word in it being very lightweight, therefore easy to use both upstairs and downstairs. 100% suction with no loss. The ball being smaller makes manoeverability so easy. I would recommend this cleaner to anyone, and this comes from an initial Dyson hater, who wanted to persevere with other cleaners just to try to prove they were as good, but having got this cleaner I take my words back and admit defeat.

My wife is over the moon with this Dyson. Even I like using it and I hate housework.. It's light strong and goes from carpet to hard floor without adjustment.

i have a dog that sheds hairs terrible so i was at my wits end trying to vacuum them up constantly, anyway i bought the dyson lightweight ball and after the first use my carpets looked like they had been shampooed, its very easy to use, with a wonderful suction, i would definitely recommend this to anyone. so pleased with mine. jackie wood

it does need emptying more than the bigger version as the drum is smaller but it is a lightweight hoover so what more can u expect.
its very easy to carry up and down the stairs.
but the tube isnt very long, you can only reach about the third step when hoovering.

The hoover is very small (in fact my 2 year old grandson thought it was for him), however the handle extends to an acceptable height. While the construction of the vacuum is a tad flimbsy and the whole thing overall is compact, it does exactly what it says on the box. The suction is much more powerful than my previous (no dyson) vacuum cleaners. I love my new vacuum cleaner, and I would not only recommend to friends I would buy again. That said if you have a 'large house' it probably isn't for you.

love the way it glides around with the ball feature but the lead is no where near long enough, i have to change plugs from room to room and the pipe has no attachments for the stairs! but still lovely hoover and very lightweight, for my 1st Dyson i wont be going back to cheap hoovers
