I am 5'3" and wear a standard size 12, this skirt could have been made for me! Exactly as it appeared on line which is great. My only quibble is that the lining of the skirt is a little snugger than I would have liked but it is still a 5* skirt. And I think that I could wear it to any occasion by changing tops, shoes and accessories.
