This quilt is a good buy and value for money. It is lightweight but still warm enough although of a lighter tog value. I find that in our centrally heated home we do not need an especially high tog rating and this quilt just fits the bill. I have not washed it yet so cannot comment on that aspect, but would assume as with other similar quilts there would not be a problem.
