Summer fashion essentials for all occasions
How to dress up for Summer occasions
If like us you were over the moon with all the sunny weather the UK has been experiencing (and we hear we're in for a heatwave soon!) you’ll have been reviving your Summer clothes, getting the sunglasses out, applying the suntan lotion and turning up the heat on the BBQ (we certainly could smell the aroma of burgers!)
If you’re struggling in moving your wardrobe into the Summer season then we’ve put together some essential items that will be perfect for the key Summer events coming up.
BBQ fashion
We love our Summer time barbeques as they are often with a group of friends in someone’s garden with a lovely jug of Pimms (well we hope they are for you!) These types of occasions are perfect for the casual chic look, this is where we cropped trousers, sandals and sunglasses come to play! Our cropped trousers will look great with a print top and the gorgeous Summer weather!
Summer evening drinks
The Summer evening drinks are the quintessential sign that the nights are getting longer, now you can finally sit in the beer garden until the sun goes down! The most important aspect here is to opt for light materials that will keep you cool all night long. Plus it’s also the time of year where you can dare to bare your legs!
Embrace the floral print trend with this Prom Style Dress, we'd wear this with wedges & a cardigan for those chilly evenings.
Afternoon stroll in the park
There’s nothing better than a stroll in the Summer sun. Whether it’s on your own, with friends or a loved one, a walk can be great for the mind, body and soul! Again casual comforts are great here – you’ll be pleased to hear we have a range of items perfect for an afternoon out!
Encorporate some dip dye in your wardrobe with this dip dye skirt, this gorgeous purple colour is perfect for casual glamour!
Comfy sandals are the best option if you’re walking; these Clarks Ankle Bar Sandals provide support and keep your feet cool!
Now you’re prepared for the Summer ahead, let’s hope the good weather stays (I certainly hope we haven’t jinxed it!). What will you be wearing this Summer?
