Polly is one of our favourite colleagues over in HK – she’s a buyer, responsible for finding you beautiful womens dresses and more.

So what happens over in HK? Well, we measure the sample garments from our suppliers to make sure that they meet our high standards. We take a photo of the ones that pass the test and use these to make sure that the clothes we go on to order match the sample that we have approved.

Hard-working Polly is in charge of the process,  contacting all of the suppliers and overseeing her team as they prepare all of the necessary paperwork..

Sequin Face Dress

We like to think of ourselves as party animals here at Kaleidoscope. Whether it’s drinks with friends, a family celebration or the office summer party, we still love dressing up, having a cheeky glass or two of white wine and maybe even strutting our stuff on the dancefloor (no matter how much this embarrasses the kids).

Sparkle Long Dress

Naomi Campbell is to host two charity fashion shows in London and New York to raise money for the victims of recent earthquake in Haiti. The supermodel, who is better known for her fiery temper than for her philanthropy, has recruited celebrities to model various items of designer clothing at the events.

The first event is in New York on February 12th, as part of New York Fashion Week. The London event will take place later in the month, and will be part of London Fashion Week. What’s more, both events will be open to the general public. So, Kaleidoscope fashionistas, if you fancy an up close view of the latest trends in ladies designer clothes, shoes and bags, you’ll soon have the opportunity!

According to Ms. Campbell, who also organised a fashion show in 2007 to raise money after the UK floods, the world’s top fashion designers have been queuing up to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake. “Of all the American designers, nobody has said no,” said the supermodel. “They’re taking the time out of their schedules to be able to pick what they want to give and contribute. We are very, very grateful.”

A new blog for a new decade

Happy 2010 to all our customers and fans at Kaleidoscope. To mark the New Year – and indeed the new decade – we’ve set up this blog so that we can bring you the latest information about what’s new in ladies fashion and home interiors. We’ll also be using the blog to tell you about sales and special offers: bookmark/ subscribe to it to make sure you’re first to find out about these deals!
